Hassebrook raises more than $750k

Omaha, NE -- Chuck Hassebrook, Democratic candidate for Governor, was pleased to announce on Monday that his campaign has raised more than $750,000 to date.

Since announcing he will run for Governor last June, Hassebrook has received the support of key leaders in Lincoln and Omaha, including Dick Holland, Susie Buffett, former Omaha Mayors Mike Boyle, Mike Fahey, and Jim Suttle, current Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler, former Lincoln Mayor Colleen Seng, Lancaster County Commissioner Jane Raybould, thirteen state Senators, former Nebraska Governor and U.S. Senator Bob Kerrey, the AFL-CIO, and the Nebraska State Education Association (NSEA). 

Hassebrook served on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents for 18 years, and spent 36 years working for rural communities at the Center for Rural Affairs, a national rural advocacy and development organization based in Lyons, where he has assisted over 10,000 Nebraska small businesses.
